Letters and Grant [manuscript]. 1858-1866.

Two letters from the Bank of Australasia to Augustus Tulk, Librarian of the Melbourne Public Library. The first is dated 26 July 1864 and is an acknowledgement for receipt for safe custody of a deed of Grant to the Trustees of the Melbourne Public Library. The second is dated 18 September 1866 and is an acknowledgement for receipt of two Grants to the Trustees of the Melbourne Public Library, which are to be held by the Bank. Also enclosed ia a Grant for a site or a building for a Public Library, addressed to Sir William Foster Stawell. It is signed by Sir Henry Barkly and dated 17 February 18[58]?
